We are an independent Federal Firearms Dealer (FFL) and gun store located within the Tallgrass Prairie Auction Center of Petersburg, Ilinois. New Salem Firearms handles the Federal firearm paperwork processing for all gun auctions at the Tallgrass Prairie Auction Center, and we also offer direct firearm sales and gun transfer services to our local customers. Petersburg is the County Seat of Menard County in Central Illinois, and we are located just 25 minutes away from the state capital of Springfield, IL (Sangamon County.)
The most recent TGP Firearm Auction was held on July 10th, 2010, (Saturday) - both live on-site and live online. The next one is currently being planned for September 25th - check back later for more information!
